I've just uploaded the study guide to the "Exam prep" folder and the Clauses powerpoint to the "Grammar" folder. To know which grammar workbook pages to study, refer to the study guide and syllabi from January to present (all posted).
The May 2014 syllabus is up. I repeat, our last syllabus of the year is up! Woo hoo!! Let's finish strong.
I've created a folder for Romeo and Juliet study materials. No, you will not be tested on phrases coined by Shakespeare; that's just for fun. :) I've also added the project handout for your reference.
The April syllabus is up.
Keeping up with the syllabus
I've updated the syllabus YET AGAIN due to our latest snow days. All the due dates in your class calendar are up to date, as well.
ASP Essay NEW DUE DATE
Thanks to the wonky weather, I haven't had a chance to collect and comment on all your rough drafts ahead of our prescribed Thurs/Fri due date, so I will push this back one class period. This means that tomorrow (Wednesday) I will collect rough drafts from B-day classes and return them Friday. A-day girls will get their rough drafts back Thursday. Thus, A-day students should hand in the final paper next Monday, and B-day students, Tuesday.
Let me know if you have any questions!

I posted the essay assignment and rubric below in the "Essay stuff" folder for ready reference. Note that there are separate assignments and rubrics for Honors and College Prep English 9. The document on essay formatting applies to everyone.
